This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Sabine County Warrant Records is a private reference. It cannot check live status, recall an order, accept payment, post bond, set a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the issuing court or the office that holds the record.
Official Sabine County Warrant Information
Choose the public office that matches the case. The county courthouse is at 201 Main Street in Hemphill, but each court keeps a separate record path:
- County-held information: the Sabine County Sheriff lists 409-787-2266, PO Box 848, Hemphill, TX 75948, and Scso.openrecords@co.sabine.tx.us. The county page lists normal office hours as 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; no separate warrant-counter hours are posted.
- District-court file: contact the District Clerk at 409-787-2912, 201 Main Street Courthouse, Hemphill. The listed public window is Monday through Friday, 8 to noon and 1 to 4.
- County Court file: call the County Clerk at 409-787-3786 or the County Court coordinator at 409-787-2889. Confirm the right clerk for the case.
- JP citation: use the JP page to identify Precinct 1 at 409-787-3719 or Precinct 2 at 409-787-5248.
- City citation: Hemphill Municipal Court uses 409-787-2251; Pineland City Hall routes municipal-court calls at 409-584-2390.
- Legal advice or resolution: speak with a licensed Texas attorney and the court that issued the process about recall, appearance, or bond.
The county’s Public Information Act instructions say Sheriff requests should be mailed or hand-delivered to PO Box 848. The Sheriff page also lists an open-records email, so call first to confirm the current route and any fee estimate. Court-held files may require a separate clerk request under judiciary access rules.
The Texas Attorney General’s Public Information Coordinator directory provides another official reference for the Sheriff’s public-information contact.

Because published Sheriff request routes differ between county pages, call the office before sending sensitive material or relying on a delivery method.
