Sabine County Municipal Court Warrants
Municipal courts handle city ordinance and Class C matters, including some traffic and failure-to-appear cases. A city court may issue its own warrant or capias process. The record belongs to that court, so a county Sheriff contact or JP citation search may not show it.
Sabine County has municipal courts in Hemphill and Pineland. Each city handles its own citations and appearance requirements. Identify the city on the paper before calling.
Municipal Court Warrants in Sabine County
A municipal warrant is tied to the city case, not to every record held by the county. In Sabine, the city court decides its own citation status and recall. Police may serve municipal process, but the clerk or judge is the first administrative route for a court record.
There is no public Hemphill or Pineland active-warrant list. A missing result in a county source does not settle the city docket.
Sabine County Municipal Warrant Contacts
Hemphill’s court is at City Hall, 211 Starr Street. Its page lists defendant hours on Tuesday and Thursday, 9 to noon and 1 to 2, with an appointment option. Call 409-787-2251 or email cityhall@cityofhemphill.com before visiting.
Pineland routes questions through City Hall at 110 Timberland Highway, 409-584-2390, Monday through Friday, 8 to 4. The city page does not give a separate municipal-court phone or online warrant search.
The Hemphill court page and Pineland court page give city-specific steps.
Sabine County Municipal Warrant Cities
The incorporated-city research supports two municipal-court routes in Sabine County. Hemphill and Pineland each maintain city government, police, and a court contact. A ticket from an unincorporated area may instead belong to JP Precinct 1 or 2.
| City | Court | What It Handles |
|---|---|---|
| Hemphill | Hemphill Municipal Court | City ordinance, state Class C, traffic, and FTA matters. |
| Pineland | Pineland Municipal Court | Municipal cases and city citations; confirm process with City Hall. |
A citation issued outside Hemphill or Pineland may belong in JP Precinct 1 or 2 instead. Check the issuing authority on the notice rather than choosing a municipal court based only on where you currently live.
Sabine County Pineland Warrant Officer
Pineland’s Chapter 7 code describes its municipal court, clerk duties, and cash-bail authority. It also says the chief of police can provide a bailiff or warrant officer to serve municipal process when the judge requests one. That service provision does not create a public case-search page.
Use City Hall for the court contact, and ask the clerk or judge about current status. The code is a structure source, not a live warrant count or payment-clearance screen.
The Pineland code chapter describes municipal-court authority.
The code explains how Pineland municipal process may be served; it does not display a warrant result.
Sabine County Municipal Court Warrants
Neither city publishes a warrant search form. Call the municipal clerk or judge with the citation or cause number and ask whether the issue is an unpaid balance, missed appearance, warrant, or separate FTA hold. If there is no number, give the city and court date so staff can route the question.
- Match the ticket to Hemphill or Pineland Municipal Court.
- Call Hemphill at 409-787-2251 or Pineland City Hall at 409-584-2390.
- Ask the clerk to confirm warrant status, amount, next setting, and accepted payment route.
- Use the city’s posted hours or appointment instructions before visiting.
- If status remains unclear, ask the court how to request a record or written confirmation.
Sabine County Hemphill Warrant Resolution
Hemphill’s page lists phone, mail, and in-person payment routes. It says personal checks are not accepted to clear outstanding warrants and publishes a $6 phone-card fee. The page also describes plans, community service, and indigency contact options, but the court decides whether they fit a case.
The page encourages a person to contact the court about an unpaid matter, but it does not promise an arrest-free visit. Call or arrange an appointment first and ask what confirmation follows a payment or appearance.

Sabine County Municipal Warrant Fields
No local public case schema or warrant-number format was found. Ask the court for the citation or cause number, municipal court name, process label, current balance, date checked, and whether a new appearance date is set. A payment record and a recalled warrant are not always the same event.
| Case identifier | Use the city citation or cause number; no common Sabine format is published. |
|---|---|
| Charge or citation | City ordinance, Class C, traffic, or failure-to-appear matter. |
| Issuing court | Hemphill Municipal Court or Pineland Municipal Court. |
| Amount | Confirm whether the figure is a fine, court cost, plan balance, or bond. |
| Status | Ask whether it is active, served, recalled, or awaiting another court step. |
Sabine County Municipal Payment Limits
Pineland lists cash, cashier’s check, money order, and debit or credit card for citations. Its notice says an online payment meets the citation-payment requirement only, and the payer is responsible for payment information. It does not say that a warrant was recalled.
Hemphill publishes more detail, including its phone card fee and rule against personal checks for outstanding warrants. Those city rules should not be applied to a Pineland citation.
Sabine County Municipal Warrant Resolution
The issuing city court decides whether payment, a scheduled appearance, a plan, or another order resolves its process. Hemphill and Pineland publish different payment rules. Neither city page provides a complete online warrant status or universal recall timetable.
- Ask the clerk what process is active and which court action is required.
- Confirm the balance and current payment or appearance options.
- Keep the receipt or court order and ask whether a new date remains.
- Confirm separately that a warrant and any state FTA hold were updated.
Warning: A citation payment page is not a warrant-clearance certificate. Ask the municipal court whether its record changed and what confirmation it can provide.
